How far in advance should we book you?
Most couples book DJ Nick Scott 12-16 months in advance to secure their wedding date, especially during peak seasons. With high demand and limited availability, early booking ensures you get the award-winning entertainment your big day deserves. Don’t wait until it’s too late—lock in your date now for an unforgettable celebration!
Do you require a deposit to book our date?
A $500.00 security deposit is required upon booking. This payment is deducted from the final balance due on the date of the event.
Can we choose the songs for our wedding?
To make planning seamless, I provide all clients with an online wedding questionnaire that covers every detail of your event timeline and song selections. This ensures that your special moments—like your first dance, grand entrance, and must-play songs—are perfectly timed and personalized. With this tool, I’ll have everything I need to create a smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable experience for you and your guests!
What happens if you’re unable to perform due to an emergency?
In the unlikely event that I am unable to perform at your wedding, I will make every effort to find a qualified replacement DJ, exhausting all options at my disposal. While I cannot guarantee a replacement, I have a strong network of professional DJs and will do everything possible to ensure your event runs smoothly. Your celebration is my priority, and I will communicate with you every step of the way.
What type of lighting do you use?
I use top-tier Chauvet uplighting and ADJ Pro event lighting to create a stunning, customizable atmosphere for your wedding. Whether you want a soft, romantic glow or vibrant, dynamic colors, my lighting can be tailored to match your vision. With professional-grade equipment, I ensure your venue looks as incredible as your celebration feels!
How much space do you need for setup?
To ensure the best performance setup, I require a space of at least 10 feet long by 8 feet wide for my DJ system. This allows ample room for my sound equipment, lighting, and workspace to deliver a seamless experience. Providing this space ensures the best sound quality and an organized, professional presentation for your event.
Wha are your outdoor event requirements?
Due to insurance requirements, I am not permitted to perform in open-air environments without strong overhead protection. To ensure the safety of my equipment and the success of your event, a sturdy, weatherproof covering is required for all bookings. This guarantees a smooth and uninterrupted performance, no matter the conditions.
How do you handle last-minute changes or special announcements?
I’m always prepared to adapt to last-minute changes or special announcements to keep your event running smoothly. With professional-grade equipment and a flexible approach, I can quickly adjust the timeline, make announcements, or shift the music as needed. Your event’s success is my priority, and I’ll work closely with you and your coordinator to ensure everything flows seamlessly.
